The best integrated design firm in the world has an opening for an entry level Project Architect focused on 3D Visualization.
As a Project Architect focused on 3D visualization and architectural renderings at DLR Group you will be an integral team member in the design development process and will have responsibility for managing aspects of project document development and coordinating with all project team members to maintain the quality of the work product within the established project schedule for large complex projects. As part of our integrated design teams you create buildings that elevate the human experience through design.

3D Visualization: You will assist design teams by creating high quality architectural renderings and graphics. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of the software listed below and will excel at working in a fast-paced team environment to create photo realistic imagery. The job will involve modeling, lighting, texturing, rendering, photo compositing, retouching and fly thru animation. You'll be preparing 3D external and internal visuals on a range of fast paced projects from initial design intent to fully designed schemes.
Project Architect: You will be responsible for managing, with assistance from Project Manager or more senior Project Architect, all aspects of the project document development and coordinating with all project team members to produce quality work product while adhering to project schedules. Additionally, you'll collaborate with Project Manager to support client needs and maintain financial health of the project.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
Identify and propose technical solutions to design challenges.
Provide technical feedback in the conceptual development of project documents.
Produce accurate documents aligned with firm standards for project assignments.
Apply practice standards to project assignments.
Communicate to Project Manager progress of assignments according to the established project schedule and workplan.
Ensure project information is incorporated into project documents.
The successful candidate must:
Have a basic understanding of technical knowledge in architectural drafting and design.
Must be a strong communicator, collaborative, detail oriented, organized, and an agile researcher.
Have a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related design field.
Must have an excellent eye for composition, lighting, quality and photo-realism.
Ability to work on tight project deadlines in both a team and individual environment.
Be proficient in the use of computer modeling and rendering software such as REVIT, CAD, 3DS Max, VRay, Sketchup, Rhino, and the Adobe suite - Ability to set up fly thru animations and composite final frames
