Gutierrez Studios seeks a versatile project designer with 3-5 years experience working with a compatible design/build firm. Responsibilities include producing complete fabrication drawings, field measuring, material sourcing, client relations, and overseeing production.
Our ideal candidate has a degree in architecture, industrial design or mechanical engineering. They possess strong conceptual skills and are competent in AutoCAD, Adobe CS, and Microsoft Office. Hand rendering and 3D design software capabilities are strongly encouraged. Applicants should be organized, have excellent communication skills, project management experience, and be comfortable working on diverse projects. A working knowledge of building materials and fabrication techniques is essential. Applicants with mechanical engineering backgrounds who have the knowledge to conduct structural analysis and calculations are highly encouraged to apply.
