CallisonRTKL seeks an Architect to join its Workplace Practice Group in Washington, DC. The position is focused on domestic mixed-use residential and office projects. The ideal candidate will be a flexible, team oriented individual with strong time management skills, a willingness to learn, and will have the desire to participate in all phases of design from early concepts though construction documents.
Works closely with senior staff supporting design and technical tasks
Supports design concept, development and construction documents
Conducts research for the project team
Produces graphic presentations and builds computer models
Performs calculations and basic analytical tasks
Organizes files, materials and displays
Possesses an intermediate knowledge of building systems and construction detailing
Maintains effective communication with the project team members.
Interacts well with other disciplines and clients in a manner that builds productive relationships
Collaborates with project team members to ensure design and documentation are in accordance with project expectations
Attends and participates in client meetings as needed
Bachelor's degree in Architecture
0-3 years of US-based architecture experience
Proficient in Revit
Strong graphic and presentation skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Large scale mixed-use, residential, or office experience preferred
LEED accreditation preferred
