We are seeking a 0-3 year architecture school graduate. LEED and/or Fit accreditation a plus. Candidate must be a hard-working, detail oriented professional with strong communication and graphic skills. Knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD are required. SketchUp, Rhino, rendering programs, InDesign and Photoshop are also a plus.
Preparing architectural schematic drawings, design development drawings, coordination of construction drawings and project documents which include floor plans, elevations, building sections, wall sections, door and window schedules, finish & fixture schedules, plan details, section details, elevation details, site diagrams, code studies and diagrams, energy verification diagrams, and yield studies.
Designing sketches for elevation studies, massing studies, room layouts, furniture layout and design.
Preparing design documents for meetings with clients and city officials.
Surveying existing buildings ahead of any renovations or alterations and performing construction administration by responding to submittals and RFIs.
Assisting the partners and team members with the design and implementation of work on current and upcoming projects of different types including, but not limited to, urban multi-family residential, mixed-use residential and commercial building design, historic renovation and adaptive reuse.
Working with the office internal team, coordinating consultants, preparing presentations with clients, review agencies and community, preparing design and construction drawings and participating in the construction administration process.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related.
24 months experience in the job offered or Architectural Staff Team Member or related.
Knowledge of or experience in Revit to create plans, sections, elevations, architectural views and data tables.
Knowledge of or experience in using Dynamo for Revit to automate, expedite and improve accuracy of tasks.
Knowledge of or experience in AutoCAD to perform preliminary studies. Knowledge of or experience in Adobe products like Photoshop,
Lightroom, InDesign and Illustrator to edit images and compose presentations.
