Small, full-service Architecture + Interior Design firm in Dupont Circle has an opening for an experienced new hire.  This position provides a unique opportunity to support a variety of project types and scales across commercial, residential and institutional projects.

Job Description:

• Full-time position to support and eventually lead on renovation and new construction projects, from concept to completion.
• Manage feasibility studies, existing conditions documentation, permit submissions, and construction documents.
• Collaborate with owners, reps, and consultants.
• Visit job sites, review submittals, and manage RFIs during construction.
• Opportunities for involvement with new business development if interested.

Requirements

• Five+ years work experience in an architectural office (DC area experience is a plus)
• Must have good communication skills and be able to work well with others as well as on your own
• Revit proficiency is a must
• Strong skills in AutoCAD Architecture, Adobe CS, and MS Office Suite
• A solid grasp of zoning, building codes, construction detailing, and building systems.
• Ability to facilitate all phases of design
• A Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch.) or Master of Architecture (M. Arch.) degree. (Architectural license is a plus.)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and be in the DC area with ability to commute to the office and primarily work in the office.
